One of the prestigious colleges at Ritsumeikan University is the College of Policy Science, located at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus. Started in 1994, this College is for students who strongly feel for the social challenges and are ready to devote themselves in the socio-economic domains for community development.

The International Admissions Office reached out to our Ambassadors about talking to Ritsumeikan Students. This time we got a response from one of our ISA, Wendy.  She conducted a short survey with fellow students at Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC) about their favorite food at the Cafeteria. As a student from Community and Regional Policy Studies Major (CRPS), she launched her own survey and here are the results, continue to read on.

In this article, Miranda, a third year CRPS undergraduate student studying shares her experience of adjusting to her new life in Japan and how she uses that time to discover her newfound hobby; photography. From what was supposed to be a distracting photo hunt, grew a curiosity leading to one of her current favorite pastimes. Through this article, she wishes to share that keeping yourself occupied during the early adjustment period is important and it might lead to new exciting discoveries as you start your life in a new place.
